A documentary crew embeds themselves with an elite unit of soldiers in the wake of a devastating alien invasion, following their grueling daily lives as they fight to maintain control in a war-torn desert landscape. Parodying real-life documentaries like Restrepo and Korengal, the film follows the soldiers' desperate struggle against mind-controlled locals and relentless Heavies, who seem to be changing tactics with every passing day. As the battle lines blur and allegiances are tested, the crew uncovers a sinister plot that threatens the very fabric of humanity's existence.
