In "Otto; or, Up with Dead People", a young zombie appears on a remote highway, hitching a ride to Berlin and discovering an abandoned amusement park where he begins to explore the city. Underground filmmaker Medea Yarn documents his journey, which coincidentally intersects with her own film project, while Otto's past life unravels through a mysterious wallet containing clues about his human existence. As the story unfolds, themes of queerbashing, identity, and schizophrenia are woven together in this surreal, genre-bending horror comedy that explores the complexities of being human - or not.
