"Spirits' Homecoming" is a powerful and poignant drama that recounts the traumatic experiences of two Korean teenagers forced into servitude as 'comfort women' during Japan's occupation of Korea in 1943. The film follows Jung-min and Young-hee as they endure unimaginable hardships, from brutal mistreatment by soldiers to the ultimate tragedy of their massacre by Japanese forces. Years later, an elderly woman, a former comfort woman herself, embarks on a heart-wrenching journey to reunite with her friend's spirit, confronting a painful past and finding solace in the present through a young medium who channels the spirits of the dead.
