In this campy, action-packed fantasy film from Hammer Films, an ancient tribe attempts to sacrifice a young woman named Sanna as an offering to their Sun god, but she escapes and finds refuge with another tribe. As they form a bond, Sanna's former tribe gives chase, leading to a series of thrilling adventures involving dinosaurs, treacherous terrain, and even a carnivorous plant. Along the way, romance blossoms between Sanna and her rescuer Tara, who must fight to protect her from those who seek to kill them - including their own tribe members.
