At an elite boarding school for girls, a clique of girls led by ruthless popular girl Alice play a prank on their classmate Kerrie by faking a haunting, but one night, Kerrie is found dead, and another student, Lenora, follows suit. As the remaining students try to uncover the truth behind the murders, they discover that the ghosts of their deceased classmates are real, and one of them may be the killer.
