A low-budget, amateur horror anthology that, unfortunately, really looks the part, "The Dark Tapes" presents a genre-defying mixture of horror, sci-fi, myth, mystery and thrills told as four interlocking tales in one intelligent anthology. The film is presented as an anthology of short horror films, built into a frame narrative which acts as its own short horror film, each segment linked together with the concept of found footage.
