"Moontrap" is a sci-fi horror film about a derelict spaceship found in orbit around Earth, which contains a reddish-brown pod and a mummified human corpse from 14,000 years ago. When the pod comes to life, it constructs a cyborg body that wreaks havoc on scientists. Colonel Jason Grant (Walter Koenig) and astronaut Ray Tanner team up with an ancient astronaut named Mera to stop the cyborgs, known as the Kaalium, who are from an ancient human civilization.
