Thilak, a news anchor at Zen One TV, discovers that his ex-girlfriend Malar and her friend Kalpana have been assaulted by corrupt politician Dheeran Maniarasu's goons in retaliation for protesting against his pesticide factory. As Thilak investigates further, he finds himself at odds with his corrupt boss Kalyan and must decide whether to expose the truth or maintain his career. With the help of his colleagues, Thilak takes matters into his own hands and starts a new job at Muthamizh TV, where he continues to investigate and gather evidence against Dheeran and Kalyan.
