A group of unlikely travelling companions find themselves on the same stagecoach to Cheyenne, including Ann-Margret as Dallas, a prostitute being driven out of town; Bing Crosby as Doc Josiah Boone, an alcoholic doctor; and Alex Cord as Ringo Kid, a young woman's army captain husband. They must all work together when they are set upon by an Indian war party and then a family of outlaws.
