Ricky Miller (Jon Cryer), a 40-something restaurant manager and aspiring writer, finds love on an online dating site called E-Happily with Danita (Stephanie Szostak). When Danita reveals her husband's abusive nature, Ricky agrees to help her kill him so they can be together. As they concoct a plan, Ricky's best friend Seth (Will Sasso) tries to dissuade him from the dark path, but ultimately joins in on the scheme. The two men ultimately succeed in killing Danita's husband and start a new life together, with their love being promoted by E-Happily.
