"Hot Dog: The Documentary" is a feature-length documentary that explores the making of the 1980 comedy film "Hot Dogs: The Movie," now known as "American Hot Wax" and later retitled "American Hot Dog" with its title changed again to simply "Hot Dog." The film follows the story of this infamous cult classic, featuring interviews with actors Peter Markle, Mike Marvin, David Naughton, and Tracy Smith. Naughton, who also appeared in "An American Werewolf in London," is among those interviewed for the documentary.
