Doctors of the Dark Side is a documentary that tells the story of four detainees and the physicians and psychologists who implemented enhanced interrogation techniques at Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp and Abu Ghraib Prison. The film features interviews with medical, legal, and intelligence experts, as well as evidence from declassified government memos, to document the role of healthcare professionals in covering up signs of torture. Diane Davis and Lee Aaron Rosen play instructors, while Gian-Murray Gianino portrays a detainee. The movie is based on four years of research by Producer/Director Martha Davis, written by Oscar-winning Mark Jonathan Harris, and filmed in HD by Emmy-winning DP Lisa Rinzler.
