In the hours after the Titanic struck an iceberg 100 years ago, a team of shipbuilders and engineers, including Liam Cunningham (Narrator), David Wilmot (Joseph Bell) and Ciarán McMenamin (Fred Barrett), worked tirelessly to save the stricken vessel by keeping its power systems running. Their bravery and self-sacrifice bought crucial time for many lives to be saved, despite ultimately succumbing to their efforts.
