"The White Rose" (1982) tells the story of a small group of university students in Munich who form a resistance cell against Nazi Germany's oppressive regime. Lena Stolze as Sophie Scholl plays a pivotal role among these brave individuals, along with her siblings Hans and Alex Schmorell, as they risk their lives to distribute leaflets calling for resistance against Hitler and his regime. The Gestapo's crackdown ultimately leads to the arrest and execution of the White Rose members in February 1943.
