Three friends in their 50s set out on a European train adventure, recreating a trip they took years earlier with a recently deceased friend, fulfilling her teenage daughter's wish to join them. Along the way, lost passports, train strikes, and romantic entanglements throw them off course, forcing them to put aside old feuds and remind themselves that they're still at their peak. With 18-year-old Maddie by their side, they must complete the journey within five days to fulfill Anna Farmer's final wish and create new memories together.
