Sergeant Cruchot and his faithful comrades have been sent to the International Congress of Gendarmerie in N.Y., but things take an unexpected turn when Cruchot's daughter Nicole sneaks onto a ship bound for America, seeking adventure and independence. As Cruchot frantically searches for her, he must navigate New York City's streets, outsmarting NYPD officers and Sicilian gangsters along the way.
