Hailee Steinfeld stars as Agent 83/Megan Walsh, a teenage international assassin yearning for a "normal" adolescence who fakes her own death and enrolls as an exchange student in a suburban American high school. She struggles to blend in and overcome her assassin skills while navigating friendships, romance, and high school drama. Megan befriends Roger Marcus, Cash Fenton, Liz Larson, and Gooch, among others, but her true identity as an elite agent is eventually revealed, putting those she cares about in danger.
