In the 1988 film "The Shadowed Mind", a patient at a private clinic for sexual dysfunction begins a tentative affair with fellow patient Paul (Rufus Swart), while a killer stalks the institution, setting the stage for a dark and twisted exploration of human psychology and desire. Dr. Dieter Hildesheimer (Towje Kleiner) appears to be an increasingly troubled presence amidst the chaos. As the body count rises, the lines between sanity and madness become hopelessly blurred.
