When his lawyer wife becomes pregnant, chronic underachiever Tom Reilly must adjust to a demanding job at his father-in-law's advertising firm, where he finds himself in an increasingly hostile office rivalry with Chip, Sofia's paraplegic former lover. As Tom tries to prove that Chip isn't genuinely handicapped, the situation escalates into chaos, leading to some surprising and humiliating consequences for both men.
