A bug exterminator, Alex Mathis (Greg Grunberg), teams up with a hospital security guard, Jose Ramos (Lombardo Boyar), to battle a giant alien spider that goes on a rampage in Los Angeles. The duo, aided by the military and Lieutenant Karly Brant (Clare Kramer), must stop the creature before it destroys the city. Alex's expertise as an exterminator proves invaluable as he navigates the giant spider through its lair in the U.S. Bank Tower.
