In this 1950 American romantic comedy Western film, Bob Hope plays a low-grade American stage actor who poses as a British butler to impress two visiting American women, Effie Floud and her tomboyish daughter Agatha. As the story unfolds, Arthur Tyler (Hope) finds himself caught in a web of deception, pretending to be an aristocrat to refine the family while also navigating the complexities of small-town America and even earning the attention of President Theodore Roosevelt.
