Big Fish is a 2003 American fantasy drama film that tells the story of a frustrated son who tries to distinguish fact from fiction in the life of his father, a teller of tall tales. Ewan McGregor plays Ed Bloom (young) and Albert Finney plays Ed Bloom (senior), with Billy Crudup as Will Bloom, Edward's son. The film follows Will's journey to understand his father's life through flashbacks of Edward's amazing adventures, including encounters with a witch, a giant named Karl, and the mayor's daughter, Jenny.
