The film follows three police officers - Det. Clarence "Tango" Butler (Don Cheadle), Narcotics detective Sal Procida (Ethan Hawke), and Officer Eddie Dugan (Richard Gere) - as they struggle with the fine line between right and wrong in Brooklyn's notoriously rough Brownsville section of the city.
