Two struggling teenagers from broken families in Gateshead embark on a mission to raise £1000 to buy season tickets for their beloved Newcastle United football club. Along the way, they concoct increasingly outlandish schemes, shoplift and break into homes, but ultimately land themselves in jail, where fate surprisingly throws them a lifeline. Through it all, they grapple with poverty, family trauma, and social injustice, making for a tough, feel-good comedy drama that dares to challenge the stereotype of football fans as hooligans.
