Out of Darkness is a three-part documentary examining the untold history of African people and their cultural contributions to nations worldwide. Narrated by Prof. Kaba Kamene and co-starring Dr. Umar Johnson, among others, the film explores Nubian/Kushitic origins, contact between Africa and the Americas since antiquity, the influence of Moors in Europe, modern-day racism, Hip Hop as a social movement, and nationhood.
