After a heart transplant, Manuel (Benjamín Vicuña) feels a personality shift and explores his donor's life, leading him to meet Vale (Julieta Díaz), a widowed community leader in the barrio where her late husband Pedro lived. The film follows their developing relationship as Manuel helps Vale and her community, while keeping secrets about his connection to Pedro.
