Suburban dad Craig Waterman (Tim Robinson) falls hard for his charismatic new neighbor Austin Carmichael (Paul Rudd), and his attempts to make an adult male friend threatens to ruin both of their lives. After their initial hangout, bonding over music, work frustrations, and a shared sense of restlessness, Craig becomes increasingly infatuated with Austin. As their bond strengthens, Craig's obsession grows, leading to a series of chaotic events, including break-ins, public meltdowns, and a wild goose chase through the city's underground tunnels.
