"A Brony Tale" is an intimate documentary exploring the adult fan base of the children's animated show "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic", a phenomenon that has taken the world by storm since its premiere in 2010. The film follows Ashleigh Ball, one of the principal voice actresses for the show, as she discovers the existence of this older fanbase and travels to one of their conventions, BronyCon, where she meets a diverse group of fans who share her passion for the show's themes and messages.
