Nora Betnner (Josie Bissett), a recently relocated mother, is desperate to find her missing five-year-old son Angus after he vanishes while babysat by her teenage daughter Scarlett (Sarah Grey). The police suspect Seth, an adolescent from the neighboring household, but lack evidence against him, leading them to release him. Desperate for answers, Nora kidnaps Angus and subjects him to torture in a bid to uncover what happened to her son.
