A British erotic drama film from 1968, "Negatives" tells the story of a couple's bizarre romantic relationship disrupted by the intrusion of a third person. Based on Peter Everett's novel of the same name, the film follows Theo and Vivien as they engage in role-playing fantasies, including dressing up as an Edwardian murderer and his lover. The couple's dynamic is further complicated when Reingard, a German photographer, moves in with them, encouraging Theo to explore new fantasies, including flying as WW1 ace Manfred von Richthofen.
