"Fez Summer '55" is a drama that follows Kamal, an 11-year-old boy from the Medina of Fez, as he navigates the final months leading up to Morocco's independence in 1955. Alongside Aïcha and students at the historic Qaraouiyine mosque, Kamal becomes involved in the fight for freedom, an experience that will forever change his life. Mounia Lamkimel stars in this poignant coming-of-age tale set against the backdrop of Morocco's tumultuous transition to independence.
