The film "Yalan Dünya" (1972) tells the story of a life-and-death struggle between two brothers who grew up apart, Kemal and his son, whom he has never seen. Kemal, released from prison after years of trouble, is approached by the mafia to take out Commissioner Murat but instead seeks to leave his past behind until he needs money for his son's heart surgery.
