Jacques Duclos
Biography
Jacques Duclos was a French Communist politician and Central Committee member who played a pivotal role in French politics from 1926 to 1969. After serving as propaganda head and Vice-President of the French National Assembly, he served as the brain behind political decisions for Maurice Thorez and Benoît Frachon for over 35 years. A key figure in the International Communist Movement, Duclos was involved with the Comintern and Cominform until his death in 1975.
