Marcelo Arroita-Jáuregui was a Spanish writer, poet, translator, film critic, and actor born in La Hermida in 1922. He was known for his work as a censor cinematográfico, defending films like Carlos Saura's La caza despite controversial themes. As an actor, he appeared in notable films such as "The Mistresses of Dr. Jekyll" (1964) and worked behind the scenes on Juan Antonio Bardem's "Calle Mayor".
