Biography

Mayumi Shimizu is a Japanese actress born on March 19, 1940. She rose to prominence in the late 1950s as part of the popular all-female film star group "日活パールライン" alongside other notable actresses such as Yuriko and Noriko Honma. Shimizu gained further recognition for her solo performances in films like "十代の河" (1963) and later transitioned to television dramas, including the highly acclaimed series "前略おふくろ様".
