Silvia Abascal

Biography

Silvia Abascal Estrada was born on March 20, 1979, in Madrid and began her acting career at 14 with the game show Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez. Her breakthrough role came in 1995's Pepa y Pepe, followed by a feature film debut in Time of Happiness (1997), for which she received a Goya Award nomination. A stroke in 2011 temporarily halted her career, but she made a successful comeback to the spotlight in 2012.
