Pearl Argyle

Biography

Pearl Argyle was a South African ballet dancer and actress born on November 7, 1910, in Johannesburg. She trained at the Rambert Ballet School under Sir Frederick Ashton and later appeared in leading roles with English ballet companies in the 1930s. Argyle's notable film credits include her role as Catherine Cabal in "Things to Come" (1936).
