Walter David "Wattie" Buchan, born July 24, 1957, in Edinburgh, Scotland, is a Scottish punk rock singer and lead vocalist of the Exploited, formed in 1978 with his younger brother Terry. The band's early success included their debut EP Army Life (1981) and album Punks Not Dead, which reached No. 1 on the UK Independent Chart. Buchan has maintained a loyal following despite changes in personnel over the years.
