Walter Byron

Biography

Walter Byron was a British film actor born on June 11, 1899, who began his career in the United States in 1928 under contract with Samuel Goldwyn Productions. He starred in notable films such as "British Agent" (1934) and "Queen Kelly" (1929), opposite Gloria Swanson. Byron later became a U.S. citizen in 1954, having previously crossed the border into Mexico to gain permanent resident status.
