Biography

Mercè Montalà is a Barcelona-born actress, daughter of Irene Montalá. She began her career in theatre with her first role in "La casa de los balcones" in 1974, later transitioning to voice acting in the early 1980s. Her breakthrough came in 1988 with the film "Tequila Sunrise," where she shared screen time with Michelle Pfeiffer, among others; she has since had a distinguished career, earning several awards including the prestigious Best Supporting Voice Actor award at the 2019 Take Awards.
