Teodoro Carlos Orellana Martínez was a prominent Mexican actor, film director, screenwriter, and producer who rose to fame during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. He gained widespread recognition for starring in Mexico's first commercial sound feature film, "Santa" (1932), and later established himself as a versatile co-star alongside Pedro Infante, Jorge Negrete, and Sara García. Orellana also wrote screenplays for notable titles like "Pepe el Toro" (1953) and "Tizoc" (1957).
