Mikkel Boe Følsgaard is a Danish actor born on May 1, 1984, in Rønne, Denmark. He won the Best Male Actor award at the Berlinale for his role in "A Royal Affair" (2012) while still attending theatre school, and went on to graduate from the Danish National School of Performing Arts. Følsgaard has received several awards for his performances, including the Bodil and Robert awards, making him the first Danish actor to win a Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.
