Manoel Felciano was born on November 12, 1970, and graduated from Yale University with a humanities degree. He later completed his graduate studies at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and joined the American Conservatory Theater in 2009. Notably, he won a Tony Award nomination for his portrayal of Tobias Ragg in the 2005 Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
