Matt Lukin

Biography

Matt Lukin is a founding member and former bassist of the influential grunge bands Melvins and Mudhoney. Born on August 16, 1964, he co-founded Melvins in 1983 with Buzz Osborne and Mike Dillard, eventually becoming one of the key figures in Seattle's early music scene. The band's distinctive sound evolved under Lukin's bass playing, yielding critically acclaimed albums like Gluey Porch Treatments.
