Biography

Deborah Ann Harry is an American singer, songwriter, and actress born Angela Trimble on July 1, 1945. She rose to fame as the lead vocalist of Blondie, with four songs reaching No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 between 1979 and 1981. A former Playboy Bunny and secretary at the BBC, Harry co-formed Blondie in 1974, releasing hit albums including Parallel Lines and Autoamerican. She has also appeared in acting roles, including Union City and Videodrome.
