Biography

Alex Mallari Jr. is a Filipino-Canadian actor known for his roles in sci-fi, drama, and action projects on television and film. He got his start with the Syfy series Dark Matter (2015–2017), and later appeared in the Netflix feature film The Adam Project and the series Ginny & Georgia (2021–present). A competitive national-level Taekwondo champion before turning to acting, Mallari also attempted a professional basketball career before an injury changed his path.
