Romano Puppo

Biography

Romano Puppo was an Italian stuntman and actor born in Rome on March 25, 1933, who found success in Italian genre cinema, particularly in Spaghetti Westerns and Poliziotteschi films. He doubled for Lee Van Cleef in the Sabata trilogy and was one of his pallbearers at the director's funeral. Puppo's notable roles include Alex Bross in "Nato per combattere" (1989) and Nostromo in "Scuola di ladri - Parte seconda" (1987). He died on May 11, 1994, aged 61, in a motor scooter accident while having a heart attack.
