Biography

Severino Andrés Mejuto was a Spanish actor born in Olivenza on January 30, 1909, and passed away in Madrid on February 22, 1991. At 15, he joined Federico García Lorca's La Barraca theater company, later starring in the play Los cuernos de Don Friolera in 1931. Mejuto transitioned to film in the early 1940s, appearing in André Malraux's Espoir (1945), a war drama about the Spanish Civil War.
