Biography

Katharina Thalbach is a German actress and stage director born on January 19, 1954. She began her career at age four, playing children's roles on stage, television, and in films, before completing her Abitur and obtaining her stage maturity examination. Thalbach played notable roles at the Berliner Ensemble and Volksbühne Berlin, and later transitioned to directing theater and opera productions.
