Lorielle New began her career as Michelle Pfeiffer's photo-double and stand-in on three films, earning the attention of director Jon Avnet. He created her first speaking role in his film "Up Close and Personal", a breakthrough that led to her booking her own acting jobs. She gained recognition for memorable roles in independent films, including Sue in "The Extendables" and Fan in "Her Married Lover".
